What exactly is a "case" of Covid ?

Seriously, just what IS a "case" of Covid ?

Notice how we went from Covid to coronavirus and now back to Covid again.

How is Covid determined and what is a "case"

Does a case mean something as simple as having a couple of symptoms (common to flu) or is a case a hospital stay ?

It is determined by how much $$ is paid per Covid case. Flu cases do not get $$.

A case is one that has been diagnosed via a proper test no matter where you are.

I am not sure if this is still how it is being used, but I do believe that, if someone tested positive, they were counting it as maybe about 15 CASES, in making the assumption that there would be 10-15 people who might have been in close contact with the one positive test.

I am pretty sure this is how “case” was being used at last a couple months ago.

Nope. The tests are so inaccurate as to be useless.

Docs rue out everything else through other testing means and conclude covid if the symptoms appear to fit.
