WASHINGTON — The Virginia National Guard has approximately 2,400 personnel on the ground in Washington, DC.
As thousands more National Guard troops from around the country take up their posts in the nation's capitol, some officials have expressed concern.
U.S. defense officials, including Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, have warned National Guard commanders to be on the lookout for any potential inside threats from servicemembers involved in securing President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration.
During the deadly Jan. 6 pro-Trump insurrection at the US Capitol, there were at least some former military members among the rioters, including a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and a retied Navy SEAL Senior Chief.
So now, the FBI must vet all of the 25,000 National Guard troops coming into Washington for the event.

I read somewhere today that they were going to check which primary they voted in.
My family has had many serve and a couple on career path active duty now. This is all chilling to me...the whole picture. Like a nightmare that just goes on and on.
But they can’t get to the bottom of Hunter’s laptop or all the voter fraud. Beautiful, just f**king beautiful.
I suspect many will. I have a son and two Grandsons in the Army now. I have not been disappointed in them or their peers that I have met.

I think they’ll find them under the overpass in the “homeless” encampment where the fire broke out earlier today, getting ready for more false flag MAGA riots.
Wonder if there is any impact on their security clearances if they say they voted for Trump and the chain of command sidelines them from the inauguration.
The military has no right to ask any member how they vote or if they vote. There are no loyalty tests. The oath is to defend the Constitution. It’s all fun to joke about this, but if anyone, military leadership or FBI asks them loyalty test questions, then those people must be fired.
The FBI is running background checks. The military does that when someone joins, and again if they require a security clearance for their job. The FBI is paranoid, Pelosi is paranoid, Biden won’t come out of the basement. Great.
For the most part, NG units are beggars for soldiers. They get too aggressive and they will be commanding cardboard cutouts.
