Conservative attorney L. Lin Wood will join fellow lawyer Sidney Powell’s legal team in a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems, even as the pro-Trump lawyer faces the threat of litigation for spreading baseless conspiracy theories about the company’s voting machines.
Dominion is suing Powell for spreading a baseless conspiracy theory alleging its voting machines fraudulently flipped votes to Joe Biden.
Wood said on Telegram Friday that Powell called him Thursday night and asked him to serve as her lead counsel in the case, adding, “I quickly accepted.”
Powell’s attorney Howard Kleinhendler confirmed to Forbes in an email that Wood will be joining the legal team.
“Sidney and I will not be intimidated,” Wood wrote, claiming he and Powell “will not go quietly into the night.”
Wood frequently appeared alongside Powell after the election to push the Dominion fraud claims and was involved with her lawsuits aimed at overturning the results of the election.
Dominion has sent a letter to Wood warning it may bring a defamation lawsuit against him, asked social media networks to preserve his posts and singled out Wood in its lawsuit against Rudy Giuliani as being particularly “determined to promote” the conspiracy theory against them (the company declined to comment on Wood’s involvement in Powell’s case).

He/she has been here since 2000. I have been here since the ‘08 election cycle, and pretty active recently. Don’t recall ever seeing some of these posters who have come out of the woodwork. Strange.
We watched her for years on Lou Dobbs. Of course despite being their top rated personality... FOX Business fired him recently for being named in the voting machine lawsuit.

Why?
I saw that data that was put online showing the hits to the voting machines, the ip addresses, where the logins originated - mostly China but many other countries - and that showed how many votes were flipped to Biden.
So in my mind much of what Sidney said was corroborated. Still heard nothing about servers being seized in Frankfurt - who knows - maybe the bad guys got them.
And - I thought Lin was nuts with what he said about Pence but after he oversaw Biden’s installation, Peter Navarro calling him a traitor, and his possible collusion with Nikki Hayley, turns out Lin wasn’t that far off the mark.

Because they looked like such IDIOTS on TV that they managed to discredit PERFECTLY VALID CASES, including the big one from Texas.
Did they do it on purpose, who knows - but having them in jail will certainly HELP the efforts of conservatives.

I agree with you they made major mistakes. Though what you’re saying is you want them to lose against Dominion Defamation Case. Think about what that would mean.
And Sidney Powell got the Justice Dept to drop the Mike Flynn case where Covington and Burling (the BIG DC firm) failed.

Fair point - I’m just plain pissed at them and want to see them punished in some way because of Georgia.
I know these lawyers catch a lot of flaq some of which maybe they deseve but at least they are fighting and not caving in to pressure like so many on our side, wishing them good luck and hoping they inspire others.
And Wood successfully represented Nicholas Sandmann against WaPo and CNN (cases ended in settlement--MANY millions of $). "Not very good attorneys" don't usually succeed at such.
