My personal choice is Mark Steyn. But I’d love to hear the comments from others about who they would like behind the EIB network microphone.
Steyn would be fine.
I like Steyn as well.
Dan Bongino.
Todd Herman has been fantastic.
Doesn’t Steyn have his own radio show?
I like Steyn or how about Lou Dobbs on occasion?
No, too soon.
Steyn would be my first choice.
“He was the greatest, there will never be a true replacement for him, but is it time to start thinking about someone who could do the job?
My personal choice is Mark Steyn. But I’d love to hear the comments from others about who they would like behind the EIB network microphone.”
Ditto.Mark Steyn would be excellent to take over for the Great One.
There’s no replacement for an original.
If anyone, why not Snerdley?
I nominate myself - LOL
David Limbaugh
Andrew Wilkow
Sarah Palin
Mark just announced that Rush’s wife Katheryn will be on the show on Monday, taking calls.......
Lars Larson
Rush listener 1989 +. Closest I’ve ever heard to the magnificent Rush is Steve Deace. Love and appreciate all of the guest hosts over the years, but Steve is a force that it might be the right time for.
Let’s bury the guy first.
I think the show should continue on as “The Rush Limbaugh Show”, with a rotating staff of talk show hosts as it has been over the year(s). Mark Steyn and Walter Williams (RIP) are/were two of my personal favorites.
I say this is a great way of getting various voices, opinions, styles and talents discovered, groomed, polished and fighters for Conservatism known to us all. I liken the Rush Limbaugh Show as a Doctorate program for new talk show talent.
RIP Rush Limbaugh, thank you for all you have taught me.
Steyn.
Mark Steyn is probably the closest to Rush in terms of humor and original thinking. But I don’t know...I’m still coming to terms with the fact that Rush is gone. I can’t imagine anyone else in the role yet.
But is there really going to be a replacement? I mean, the Rush Limbaugh Show will just go away, and radio stations will all try to fill that time slot from the various shows out there. And maybe one of those shows will rise to the top, but I doubt it. I think conservative talk radio will start to decline without Rush, that’s just how good he was.
Steyn, Mark Levin. Someone who will use their reach to mobilize Conservatives. It’s all fine and well to discuss politics, but just flapping your jaws isn’t enough. We need someone who will rally us around certain legislation or protests.
