From Greg Sargent on Twitter....
Here are the numbers of people who make under $15 per hour in states of senators who voted no on the hike, as of 2019:
Sinema: 839K Manchin: 229K Carper: 106K Coons: 106K Hassan: 146K Shaheen: 146K King: 158K Tester: 126K
And yet lost on Greg Sargent, Sawyer Hackett and all the other members of the Left that thinks this a great idea, none of whom own businesses, how many of those people will lose their jobs? How many of those are entry level jobs? How many of those jobs at a McDonald, et al, can be automated?
Typical Leftist nonsense of slinging tons of sh*t against the wall and making someone else clean it up.
The lesson to be learned, though the Progressives are loathe to teach it, is that a person should not depend on a politician to get them a decent wage. It is the responsibility of the individual to make themselves an attractive hire, and worth more than minimum wage. In other words, if they want a higher wage, earn it!
And the cost of living varies greatly in different areas.
What those stats represent are the number of people currently employed below $15 per hour who would very likely lose those jobs if the minimum wage is increased to $15.
they also listed what each one of them is worth....typical communist libs...always worried about someone elses money....
I notice sawmill hack is listed under “relevant people”. Really? To whom? More like julieann castro’s ball boy.
Greg Sargent is a bald faced liar. And you can tell him I said so.
AZ minimum wage is 15 bucks an hour.
OOpps 12.50 an hour.
He is still a bald faced liar.
Eff the whole bunch.
Those figures are irrelevant when not cross referenced to the cost of living in each state.
