Eric Clapton, an English rock and blues guitarist, received the AstraZeneca jab earlier this year and now he wonders why he let himself be fooled into taking the jab without question. He looks out into England and the rest of the world and wonders what has happened with the Western rebellious, curious, and adventurous spirit if we have become so easily manipulated, even himself.
“Where are the Rebels?” he rightfully asks, as he looks out into the world, and sees how most people are following the instructions of the institutions without question. He sees old and young, men and women obeying with barely any resistance at all.
On May 12th, Producer Robin Monotti, forwarded a message through the “Monotti Protocol” which he received from the musician, in which Clapton reports the adverse reactions that he suffered from both doses of the jab, and where he writes his regrets about having undergone the procedure.
The message reads:
I am an old timer, I have survived, with great help, addiction and alcoholism, and stand now in the greatest dilemma of my life…
I have inwardly stood against our ‘elected leaders’ since brexit, intuitively doubting their integrity and character…
With the arrival of C-19 I hoped that C Henegan, S Gupta and Jay B would lead the way, but when imperial college stepped up with their jailers key, I knew we were in deep trouble…
I am a man of faith, albeit abstract, and what I felt and saw unfold in March ‘20 began to lead me away from govt rhetoric and the devotion of the general public to the PM and his cronies…
I looked for heroes in the house, and found C Walker, Desmond Swayne, and in unfortunate retirement, Lord Sumption…
On YouTube I found Hugotalks and Talk Radio… that was all….
Then I was directed to Van M, that’s when I found my voice, and even though I was singing his words, they echoed in my heart…
I recorded “stand and deliver” in 2020, and was immediately regaled with contempt and scorn…
In February this year, before I learned about the nature of the va**ines, (and being 76 with emphysema) I was in the avant garde. I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days, I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one…
About six weeks later I was offered and took the second AZ shot, but with a little more knowledge of the dangers. Needless to say the reactions were disastrous, my hands and feet were either frozen, numb or burning, and pretty much useless for two weeks, I feared I would never play again, (I suffer with peripheral neuropathy and should never have gone near the needle.) But the propaganda said the va**ine was safe for everyone….
Then I met a member of this group, who counselled me to be careful and to have a look at what goes on with you guys…
I felt like a veil had been lifted, that I was no longer alone, that it was okay, in fact essential, to hold on to my intuition and follow my heart…
I continue to tread the path of passive rebellion and try to tow the line in order to be able to actively love my family, but it’s hard to bite my tongue with what I now know…
I’ve recorded and will post here another song by Van called “The Rebels” it’s not aggressive or provocative, it just asks;
“Where have all the rebels gone?
Hiding behind their computer screens
Where’s the spirit, where is the soul
Where have all the rebels gone”
I’ve been a rebel all my life, against tyranny and arrogant authority, which is what we have now, but I also crave fellowship, compassion and love, and that I find here…
I believe with these things we can prevail
EC”
“Where are the Rebels?” he rightfully asks,...
He didn’t look very hard. He is just a sheep like so many others.
Half of the early adopters of the counter culture were plain nuts. The gang that piled in during the mid to late 60s were conformists. Bumper sticker rebels all.
It really is amazing to see how weak most people are and how easily they give in to social pressure just so they can be “part of the crowd.”
We should never again wonder how societies murder millions. The reality is your average human will do whatever a person in authority tells them to do.
He gets the jab and THEN wonders
Eric should have thought about avoiding the needle
a long long time ago.

He did.
I read his autobiography a while back, very interesting. Yes, he got into heroin and had to kick it twice, the first time cold turkey on his own. Locked himself in a room and didn’t come out for 3 or 4 days till he was clean.
But he never used needles, he snorted it. He said he probably wasted a hell of a lot of it since snorting takes a lot more than mainlining does.
He also quit alcohol and cigarettes eventually, he’s been addicted to just about everything at some time or other. And eventually quit it all too. At one point he was drinking so heavy his playing was really going downhill, he basically stayed too drunk to play. Audiences were leaving concerts disappointed...I think he said the Journeyman album was done right after he sobered up. I know it’s great, some of his best work on that one. Several tunes I really liked a lot.
He had to go into a rehab to get off the booze, he finally ended up on his knees crying, hit rock bottom and realized it was time to get help.
But he never used needles. Always snorted it.
Those were the days!
Kind of bizarre.
Yardbirds
Blues Breakers
Blind Faith
Derek & the Dominoes
I probably left out several ....
Feel sorry for the guy. And it is very helpful to hear of “celebrities” with EC’s profile and stature speaking out in this way.
He should put out a version of “We Won’t Get Fooled By the WHO Again”.
(Historical footnote: The Who is/was a British rock band formed in the 1960s; one of their songs from several decades ago included the line “We won’t be fooled again.”
The orders are being given by progressives, out of love. Not by white male supremacists, out of hate. Therefore, people will naturally obey. /s
Closet Conservative?
He said he opposed Brexit?
2+2 = 17 now?
Tin Pan Alley and Riviera Paradise, opposite ends of his musical spectrum. Two of the most beautiful pieces he ever performed.
Not all conservatives supported Brexit. It wasn’t a litmus test in that regard. His support for Enoch Powell, I think, was more revealing.
Where’s the rebel? Right here. Trader Joe’s announced today that masks were no longer required. I went shopping there today, and as approach the store, I see from the parking lot, that everyone is masked who is entering. I looked for a sign on the door, “Masks not required,” but see none. Thinking this store may still require masks, I don my mask and, as I enter the store, I can see everyone is masked, including the personnel. At the checkout, I ask the two attendants who are masked, “Are masks still required?” They both answer, “No.” To their astonishment, I whip my mask off my face with one of the attendants saying, “COOL!” Here is your rebel.
