I surmised that they all wanted the lockdown because they were govt "workers" who were going to get a paycheck while sitting home on the fannies OR they were govt retirees with that fat pension....

Although I would venture that student progress/performance this past year+ is much worse than that stated^, there is no data cited for this “report”.
Despite searching the websites of ALSDE and USDE (this one led me to National Center for Education Statistics), I have been unable to locate the source of that information. In fact, the most recent data I found is from 2019, which makes sense because there was no mandated assessment in 2020, and if there were assessments in 2021, I doubt that information is yet public.
