Please pray for her recovery, but more importantly for her salvation. She has never been a believer but she is a principled, tough, enduring woman who raised us safe and stable through hard times.
Let her know God through His Son Jesus, before she dies.

Jesus, please have mercy on heartwood’s mother and grant her the conversion and salvation of her soul and peace within her family.
Update: another bad day, although she improved a bit towards the end.
She is fighting but running out of all strength.
It isn’t Covid, but the hospital may bar visitors because of Covid spike and I am terrified of that.
I said the Lord’s Prayer for her, she has always like it. Please Lord, let her believe.

Father God,
Your servant heartwood is reaching out for assurance while beset with sadness and challenges. She knows Who is the source of all goodness, healing, peace and Salvation, and in her distress, she thinks not of herself, but of her doubting mother.
You know her mother’s heart, Lord, and why it was hardened against Your Word so long ago. Yet by her fruits she is known to her daughter as a source of goodness and provision. We ask You, Father, for your Breath of life to fan that small flame in her deepest heart, her pilot light of conscience that knows from what direction goodness comes.
We thank You, Father, for all that you have done for this mother throughout her life, and how You have worked even through her unbelief to benefit her family and community. Breathe into her Your blessed inspiration now, we pray, that her salvation may be completely realized, that her eternal destination will finally start with seeing the bright path to Your portals. May she repent and live, on this side or the other,
