Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman is investigating a tip that alleges Brian Laundrie, the fugitive fiancé of Gabby Petito, went into a Florida campground 75 miles away with his parents in early September — but only two of them were seen leaving.
Chapman announced Saturday he was entering the search for Laundrie, and tips quickly poured in. He told Fox News he received a tip on Monday that Laundrie’s parents spent the night in Fort De Soto Park with their son twice in early September from Sept. 1-3 and Sept. 6-8.
“They were registered, went through the gate. They’re on camera. They were here,” he told Fox News exclusively on Monday evening. “We think at least if he’s not here right now, we are sure he was caught on camera as he went in the gate — that he was here for sure. Not over in the swamp.”

In my opinion, Brian has become his parents’ worse nightmare. He came home to Mommy and Daddy’s house in his fiancé’s van without her. How could they possibly think there was a valid reason for that, when she had been living with them? If they “broke up”, she would have kept her van. At the very least, his parents should have reached out to someone in her family, UNLESS he confessed to them. I have a hard time believing they will go anywhere now without their every move being scrutinized, as long as their son is on the run. They will have no peace.

people will call him tho. That wouldn’t talk to cops. And he’s not going to give their names up. He never has. That’s how he (and other bounty hunters) gets his target. Which works for Leos - they get the guy behind bars with less legwork.
Read an article today, that swamp search was 1.2Mil. plus vacation and over time accrual. ;)
I met Dog once, years ago.
I was getting a late breakfast at a diner in canyon country north of Los Angeles on the way to a jobsite. He and a woman I didn’t recognize staggered up, falling down drunk (he actually fell down into the flower bed, before getting sick) in front of the restaurant. At 8:30 in the morning on a Thursday.
Good times, good times.
I’d say it’s even money who will break the case. FBI is a corrupt lumbering bureaucratic obscenity. Dog is, well, Dog.

Hell, it was a local, 22 year old cop who found Eric Rudolph in the middle of the night in North Carolina as Rudolph was dumpster diving.
The Eff Bee Eye had been searching for Rudolph for many months, with helicopters too, costing the taxpayers millions.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Dog the Bounty Hunter found Laundrie first.
The FBI only investigates crimes it gets people to commit.
Way too hard to figure out crimes actual criminals come up with on their own.
I mean, you can have a lap top of emails detailing a criminal enterprise, video, confessions, witnesses, and even the President of the United States bragging on video about taking a bribe, and the FBI can’t solve it.
