Brian Laundrie: Apparent partial human remains reportedly found in Florida nature park

Partial human remains were reportedly located in a Florida nature park where authorities have searched for Brian Laundrie, and a medical examiner has responded to the area, in the search for the fugitive wanted in the Gabby Petito case.

The discovery of remains comes after some items belonging to Laundrie were found in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park.

Law enforcement sources told NBC News that the remains were found in a section of the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park that had previously been underwater due to heavy rains.

A cadaver dog also has been deployed to the scene, CNN reported. A tent was set up in the area, according to chopper video posted by a reporter for News Nation Now.

Laundrie’s belongings were discovered Wednesday at the heavily wooded park, where his parents arrived in the morning, the family’s lawyer, Steven Bertolino, told The Post.

Would anyone be so desperate as to cut off an arm, semi-bury it in some park and then walk away leaving cops to think he was dead?

I just saw a couple of fatuous jerks on something called ‘NewsNation’ talking about cadaver dogs, and wondering why the dogs didn’t find anything much earlier when they were used.

But the place was covered in feet of water until the last week or so!

Duh.

And again, someone else on the ‘News Nation’ thing tonight identified Cassie (nee) Laundrie as ‘the sister of Gabby Petito’.

Many years ago, long before the WWW and when those of us interested only knew about BBS and then Usenet, I wrote to a friend that this was potentially going to be a disaster - because nobody seriously responsible was going to wind up really vetting anything posted here.

I don’t really care what ‘others’ think of this site.

From the time I became interested in FR in the late 1990s until today, there have always been many very thoughtful and responsible individuals posting here. I’ve learned a lot from them.

But everyone is responsible for doing their own work of separating wheat from chaff.

I just learned from a couple of “fatuous jerks” aka loons, in the link below that it appears you can now find spare body parts (I assume at Walmart) to scatter in parks to help throw the cops off some ones trail you are protecting.

Sure beats cutting ones own arm off and burring it which I also read may be effective.

Im in Florida and this “news” is on all the time.

Supposedly the remains they found are skeletal.

Good grief these people are insane. They are even making a big deal out of the fact the remains were missed. The jackasses are talking like an area the size of a back yard was searched.
