The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning that a salmonella outbreak believed to be linked to onions imported from Chihuahua, Mexico, has spread to 37 states — sickening over 650 people.

The CDC directed businesses on Wednesday evening to stop selling fresh whole red, white, or yellow onions that were imported from Chihuahua and distributed by ProSource Inc.

It also suggested businesses clean any surfaces that may have touched such onions.

The agency urged Americans to throw away any whole red, white, or yellow onions that don’t have a sticker or packaging.

Aspirin and Penicillin are the two greatest medical discoveries in history. Next thing you know the dictator will want you to get an Rx for aspirin.

That is already in the works.

The Bayer company was pushing very hard about ten years ago for Aspirin(tm) to be reclassified as a prescription drug. Their lobbying did not take.

But you may notice these days that the generic bottles of 500 tablets (at 1 cent per tablet) are no longer on most store shelves. They are all Bayer-branded items which are 300 units and 6-10 times the per-tablet price of the former brands. I am not sure how they did that.

Aspirin tablets in Europe are about 3 dollars per tablet. It is an unusual exception to the rule that US drug prices are higher.

Pharmaceutical companies are run by thieves.

Noondays from East Texas are great, when you can get them.

Vidalia onions are said to be so mild and sweet, you can eat them like an apple. Not that I ever tried that. But I can say they’re perfect for cooking and in salads. It’s just something about the soil around Vidalia, GA and surrounding counties that makes them that way. They say that they have a high sugar content, and the soil is unusually low in sulfur. Nobody’s been able to grow them properly outside of that area.

...Onions have been seen to have an antivral capability. This and the sudden reversal on Aspirin are a continuation of the “nothing but the jab” CDC.

I think you may be on to something.

The popular remedy known as *Fire Cider* utilizes onions and garlic, along with peppers/ginger,herbs and vinegar (and finished with honey & lemon juice).

I expect everything connected to self-care to be demonized or blocked by Big Pharma (which is also CDC & FDA)

Bought purple and yellow onions from our local Smiths (Kroger) yesterday. Phoned them when this story came out this morning ... nope, all our onions are grown here in Utah. Pfffft.

None at all.

The gamma radiation simply kills any living thing in a second, from virus up to bacteria and insects.

This was proposed back in the 50’s and 60’s but because people heard ‘radiation’ kills, it was rejected.

It could be done on a mass scale, like truckloads or railcar loads at a time, with no slowdown in the process of delivery. Just drive thru a tunnel and zap the entire load all at once, perfectly safe after that...............
