Best cover ever is “The Man Who Sold The World”, done by Nirvana. I never even knew it was a David Bowie song until a few years ago. Nirvana did it way better than Bowie ever could. The Midge Uri cover...absolutely dreadful. No one will ever do it as good as Nirvana did it.
Covers many times are done too fast.
Yeah, that’s probably the only song from nirvanathat I ever liked.
At :39 sec you can see a fan in the crowd wearing the white shirt black tie. Just standing there looking dazed. At :48 sec the fan collapses and disappears.
“The Man Who Sold The World” was used in an episode of “Fringe” - IIRC, an episode in the final season.
