I knew there was a reason I liked that guy! ;)
I think it’s an critically important book which should be used as an outline for a readable book by someone who can actually write.
A-Rodg is driving the narrative-broadcasters nuts. Love it.
That’s tagline worth, so I updated the tagline page

I doubt he would accept a trade to SF. I live in the bay area and this place is way too frikken woke-libtard for Aaron.
Rodgers is from Northern California and wanted to be drafted by the 49ers when he came out of Cal. SF is a contender too - they’re just missing one piece of the puzzle - a Quarterback
It is, however, perfect for the purpose Rodgers just put it to, inciting rage from people who are more interested in feeling the Correct Way about it. Some buttons you just have to push.
repeating what they hear from other people who have never actually read it.
***I saw the movie, it was ok, I mostly agree with the perspectives. I could never finish reading the book because it was so wordy and poorly written. But I find myself “repeating what I hear from other people who have never actually read it. “
Yes, and some buttons are worthy of being pushed really hard!
I did not know that Rodgers was from the Chico area. My brother was the soccer coach for Chico State. One year he won the NCAA Coach of the Year award. NoCal is very sports minded.

Rodgers began his college football career at Butte College in 2002....College career
Despite his impressive high school record, Rodgers attracted little interest from Division I programs. In a 2011 interview with E:60, he attributed the relative lack of attention in the recruiting process to his unimposing physical stature as a high school player at 5’10” (1.78 m) and 165 lb (75 kg). Rodgers had wanted to attend Florida State and play under head coach Bobby Bowden, but was rejected.[29] He was only offered an opportunity to compete for a scholarship as a walk-on from University of Illinois.[30] He declined the invitation, and considered quitting football to play baseball instead or giving up entirely on the idea of playing in professional sports and attending law school after completing his undergraduate degree.[31]
He was then recruited to play football at Butte Community College in Oroville, a junior college about 15 miles (25 km) southeast of Chico.[32]
2002
Rodgers threw 26 touchdowns in his freshman season at Butte Community College,[33] leading the school to a 10–1 record, the NorCal Conference championship, and a No. 2 national ranking. While there, he was discovered by the California Golden Bears’s head coach Jeff Tedford, who was recruiting Butte tight end Garrett Cross.[34] Tedford was surprised to learn that Rodgers had not been recruited earlier. Because of Rodgers’ good high school scholastic record, he was eligible to transfer to the University of California, Berkeley after one year of junior college instead of the typical two.[35]
Yeah, and he’s pretty good at it, too...
Aaron Shrugged.
Dittos for a Viking fan…. But I still dislike him.
Like Favre, even when he played for the vikings I had to fight back a gag reflex in my heart.
Then the idiot does what he always did. Throws a stupid interception in the NFC Championship game against New Orleans in Overtime.
I lived in Chico back then. Aarons problem was not his stature, it was the School. They never liked him, because his family was not part of the Chico In crowd of who’s who.
My Nephew had the same problem in Baseball. He was about 8 years behind Rodgers, but the High school, Pleasant Valley, had a lot of nepotism going on.
My nephew played travel ball in the Summer where he played teams around the country and traveled as far as Florida and New York. He was highly respected for his talent, but the baseball coach refused to let him play much, because of the click. They actually wanted him to up the talent at the lower level, regardless if it hurt the Varsity chances.
However, regardless of his ability, the school refused to let him play Varsity until he hit 12th grade. With the season and the team going to state, Jay had a chance at a scholarship, but then he broke his foot while riding a dirt bike and his future baseball career ended.
Yet in travel ball where he played players around the country he was an Allstar.
Rodgers ran against the same problems. It was the Butte College Head Coach who saw potential in Rodgers and gave him a chance with the promise if a DIV called he would help him. It did, he went.
Chico PV High was the HighSchool of the snobs, and Jay’s father was not a snob, and he spoke about against the liberalism going on.
See he went to a private Christian school until he was in the 9th grade, and he didn’t buy into their crap.
By the way, Jay is an electrician and a contractor up here in Idaho now where we all moved to. He has his own contracting company and is building his own home.
The team was called the Vikings. Yup Aaron played for the Pleasant Vally Vikings.
“Then the idiot does what he always did. Throws a stupid interception in the NFC Championship game against New Orleans in Overtime.”
A game your team would have been watching from the local bar had he not signed with them. Just like most years actually, the current one included. You guys still have room in your trophy case? Both Favre and Rodgers have more Super Bowl wins than the Queens have had in their entire existence.
I agree, but Favre would have had about three or four more if he didn’t always shake in big games by throwing picks at the wrong time. He did it with Green Bay in more big playoff games than I can count, and he did it again with the Vikings.
I would rather never get to a big game than to have the QB toss the ball to the wrong team. He didn’t just get intercepted, he would make stupid decisions that cost the game. His taking chances did win a lot of games, but his taking chances was what cost him a lot of games and probably a few more Super Bowls.
Rodgers is twice the QB Favre was, but Rodgers problem is no one likes him.
“ I would rather never get to a big game than to have the QB toss the ball to the wrong team. ”
It seems like your whole organization thinks that way, and I’m good with that. Victory and glory come to those who push the envelope and take chances. Sometimes it doesn’t work out, but others it does. No guts, no glory.
As to Rodgers, he should be getting a lot of respect from conservatives right now. Where are the rest as he’s standing up to tyranny?
I agree on the respect Rodgers is building, but it is a selfish thing. He already showed by not standing up to BLM, that he could care less about anything but himself.
Sure he will not take a shot, but why join BLM and the rest of the Woke crowd as he has.
Selfish. when it comes to him personally he cares, when it comes to the country and us he could care less. That much he has proven.
