CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Cape Coral police officers arrested a man at a Waffle House on Wednesday after they received calls about a disturbance.
When officers arrived, they said they heard a man identified as 28-year-old Martin Jose Alvarez yelling expletives at the staff about how his bacon was cooked.
Officers said Alvarez screamed, “You better cook the f****** bacon right!”
Officers asked Alvarez to come outside, but said he resisted until they threatened to use a taser.
Alvarez was later arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest and intent to do violence.
He is being held at the Lee County Jail.

Didnt read the whole story. Did it say what time it was? Was it say....after 2am? If so...I know what Waffle Houses can get like esp on weekends after the watering holes close. Actually it can get rather entertaining. In my city here in Alabama, we have two WH diners (open 24hrs). I work night shift and occasionally I’d join coworkworkers for a bit at the WH. At 1-3am you can see some pretty sketchy stuff.

Bacon is pretty forgiving. Short of serving it raw or undercooked, it’s hard to mess it up.
I’m not a particular fan of crispy bacon. But I’ll happily accept it because a) it’s been thoroughly cooked and b) it’s still bacon!

That “disorderly intoxication” behavior may have been a contributing factor.
