Interesting to contemplate that as long ago as that was, and it predates the existence of modern humans by 9.5 million years, it is still over 55 million years after the age of the last dinosaurs. That’s why I shake my head when know nothings go around bleating about the world ending in 10 years.
Rats, my math is off by 100 million years. Oh well, a 100 million is a rounding error on a planet 4.5 billion years old.
