ASBURY PARK, NJ - New Jersey native Wendy Williams’ eponymous show will end this fall, show executives confirmed Tuesday.
“The Wendy Williams Show” is set to be replaced with a new talk show, “Sherri,” hosted by former “The View” star Sherry Shepherd, producer Debmar-Mercury said. The new show will run during Williams’ time slots on Fox stations.
The cancellation is due to Williams’ extended health-related absence, according to Debmar-Mercury. The Asbury Park woman, who is also a graduate of Ocean Township High School, had a breakthrough case of COVID-19 last September, ultimately delaying production on the 13th and most recent season of the show.
“Since Wendy is still not available to host the show as she continues on her road to recovery, we believe it is best for our fans, stations and advertising partners to start making this transition now,” Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein said in a statement.

Simply: you have a “breakthrough case” if you test positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated against the virus.
Since September with a so-called breakthrough case. Since she’s fully vaccinated, if she does have complications from a case of the coof, it might be the vaxx’s fault after all.
Something does not add up here.
She refused the shot for a long time and then suddenly got it. Now she’s in poor health and she’s being replaced. Makes me wonder if they forced her to get it to keep the show.

Enough with the “breakthrough” euphemism BS. It’s “vaxxed” people catching the disease. If you get it after 2 Jabs, and not the third (erroneously referred to as a “booster”) you are considered not vaxxed. If you get it in less than 60 days (could be 30) after the jab it still doesn’t count.
Breakthrough is a weasel word used to obscure the fact that the fake vaccine is just that - a less than worthless fake.
Luckily she’s vaxxed or she could have gotten really sick.
She was anti-vaxx, and had underlying health problems(Graves syndrome), as Barbara Bush had.
Her show comes on after the local morning news. I don’t watch it for other than a few minutes until I can change channels.
However, what I have seen is a person who appears to have had much plastic surgery.
I do not see that she looked healthy before Covid.
This is Not the Wendy Williams I know of.
