Let's all try this, wonderful if it helps.I'll do it!
If running low, just get your gas the day before on April 14 or the day after on April 16. Every little bit helps.
In April 1997, there was a 'gas out' conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight. On April 15th 2011, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $1.20 a liter/$3.87 in most places.
If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on April 15th and let's try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.

Go virtue-signal somewhere else.
BTW, $2,292,000,000 is “barely 2 BILLION”, not “nearly 3 BILLION”
A meaningless stunt.
Participants will either fill-up
the day before or the day after.
Let’s do it! Forward to others.
Don’t buy gas on April 15, 2022.
Oil companies? How about Biden’s energy policy. You’re punishing the wrong people.
What’s the point?
I’m already not going for a couple of months.
The Tactical Reserve is still quite full.
Let’s not. I buy gas when I need to buy gas. Not when someone else tells me to.
So, you believe the current prices are due to the oil companies?
What will work is getting rid of these commies in charge. It’s going to be a long haul here folks and the there’s no guarantee of success.
There clearly is no point. It’s a stunt. It’s frustration over being powerless to thwart what the FJB government is deliberately doing to us. It’s a “feel-good” activity to make people think they’re actually doing something ... anything short of screaming at the fuel pumps as Tucci did last week.
Christiana Dillard, as most women and many men, doesn’t understand economics. Prices are set by the supply and demand of the market, so the focus of protest should be on Biden and his choking the oil supply which has driven prices up.
Prices are the EFFECT of Biden’s supply shortage and we are the victims. Christiana’s idea is like shooting yourself in the foot.
LOL!
OK, I will fill up the 14th! That OK?
How about this. You get your California friends to demand Pig Face Bidet open up all oil production to the levels they were before he destroyed the production.
How is that?
Do that on April 15th.
Yup, this.
So we’ve decided to blame BIG OIL instead of Jo Jo and his little environmental Swedish meatball wannabes for the high gasoline prices? This scheme appears to be letting Jo Jo the Pedophile Clown and his “democracy” chimpanzees off the hook. What is the connection between tax day and BIG OIL? April 15th is the day the government celebrates, not Big OIL.
This ‘boycott’ e-mail and FB posting pops up every ten years or so. Didn’t help then, won’t help now.
Drill, Baby! DRILL! :)
Not necessarily a stunt.
A show of numbers is a great idea.
I can think of better ways to do this, though.
Ideas that would hit Deep State in the wallet.

“”Fact Check: ‘Don’t Pump Gas’ Boycott Is NOT New — It’s Just Recirculated Old Post”
I agree with everything you wrote except that it is a stunt ... a show of frustration that will accomplish nothing as the FJB administration is well aware of the level of frustration ... and they don’t care.
I have a better idea...let’s stop paying our taxes and boycott all woke companies for good!
