The Banh Mi is really good. It is a holdover from when France controlled Vietnam.

I’ve got to try number 4. I’ve never seen it but it sounds good. Cuban for me.

The deli at Wawa gas stations on the East Coast serve a Gobbler at Thanksgiving. Turkey, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce.

Absolutely the best sub I’ve ever had several times a year.

Reubens grilled with coleslaw in place of saurkraut.

Rare Roast Beef and Swiss, on rye.

Corned Beef Special.

In that order.

I would put #26 at the top. Texas barbecued brisket sammich.

Lobster roll is the best, but not if I had to eat it every day. For all around, I’d choose the Italien beef as long as it came Chicago style.

I’ll hav#5 (BLT) with sweet pickles, olives and potato chips on the side; and a diet Pepsi.

The Banh Mi is something I discovered just 15-ish years ago, and I have to say it is a fantastic sandwich.

Take liverwurst off the list. Add sausage pepper (and sauce) grinder.

Where’s the cheeseburger? That’s a sandwich too, you know...

List appears to be missing a pastrami with mustard on rye. Serious omission there.

#12 Cheesesteak, but not that crappy cheese they put on in Philly. A steak bomb, with American Cheese, peppers, onions and mushrooms.

-Grilled cheese (preferably on sourdough with cheddar, jack and Gouda. Dill pickles on the side, please.)

-BLT

-Meatball sub

And many close seconds.

There are several east coast chains that have actual deli’s, not packaged garbage.

One has easily the best fried chicken in the state.

It’s a weird east coast phenomenon. The food is fresh, cooked to order, tasty and reasonably priced.

Ridiculous choices. Tuna fish sandwich doesn’t even rank?
