I know, this is a cult like movie to some. I don't get it, It's an average film somewhat entertaining, but nothing compared to the really scary "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", released the same year

I know I'm typecasting Leslie Nielsen. I wait for him to say "Don't call me Shirley".

Saw that movie at the local theater as a kid. The movie title reminded me that there’s a store in London, England named forbiddenplanet.com. They sell comic books/books, toys, Star Wars, Dr. Who, etc.

I know this is a bit forward, but why do you love the film?

Ooh, Anne Francis...

Would 60 gallons be sufficient?

The monster from the ID was my interest point. You only saw him from outlines due to the lasers, he was what the doctor was holding in his brain. The monster from the ID. We may all have one.

Ooh, Anne Francis..

Anne Francis seems to be the acting model Farrah Fawcett followed.

I think it was from the Id.

Been awhile. I think last time I saw it was just after I watched a shootout in a parking lot in Tulsa. Got back to my hotel and the movie was on. The host had Anne Francis on the set and they’d discuss the movie between segments.

It’s one of my favorite movies.

The robot drives like a madman!

Walter Pidgeon was great too. They all were.

A great concept.

If memory serves, this was from Shakespeare, somehow.

Robi the robot was a Hollywood star. I think he was in a tv show called lost in space. I don’t think he made whiskey in that though.

Robby the Robot was awesome.

The List in Space robot was different but pretty cool too

20 years ago you could buy a replica of that one for $15,000.

She was the anti-Marilyn Monroe.

I’m remembering Morbius here. It’s a classic movie but I haven’t seen it for a *long* time.

She just didn’t realize the tiger was now going to kill her.

Good thing Lieutenant Frank Drebin gave it the laser treatment.
