Which downtown? Any of them.
The Dec. 5th "Stop the Steal" rally in Denver, became a Zombie Fest as Biden declared victory. All of the dregs of society came out honking and marching.
Trump supporters in front of the State Capitol started just walking away, recognizing they were outnumbered.
I decided then, there aren't many good reasons to go downtown (even CCW).
That guy could have used a Ar 7 and done as much damage as he did. Doesn’t take any great skill to fire into a crowd to kill and maim. Now what if somehow he had gotten ahold of a grenade launcher then what or a SAM?
I think part of the problem is the guns have to be put away in a safe and no one can see them. So when people see them they are scared or they are some sort of magical power trip for these losers. If people and kids saw them all the time it would be no big deal. My friends dad used to have them in a glass faced cabinet to show them. People were proud to own and show them. Not any more.
Get behind the fattest person near you. If it's a Walmart crowd, there's plenty of hiding spaces....
Quick synopsis: Stay paranoid....
That’s the repeated meme being played, on ALL of the lefty fake news shows, per a montage played (on Bannon’s show).
The rest of the suggestions, FTA....
4. Shooters are only one type of mass casualty event. Vehicles are well documented as weapons of destruction as well. Stay away from curbs, even if it’s the best spot to view the parade. Pedestrians nearest the curb will bear the brunt of a vehicular attack.
5. Avoid confrontation. Don’t engage in political or religious discussions with people you don’t know. It’s probably not a good idea to wear your political convictions on your T-shirt or hat. In the wrong place and the wrong time, this has gotten women pepper-sprayed and men beaten.
6. Be inconspicuous. This may be difficult if you’re 6 foot, 7 inches tall, but otherwise, do your best to be “the gray man.” You might not know whom the shooter is targeting, but don’t be the only one wearing a Day-Glo orange shirt.
7. Wear sneakers or other footwear that will allow you the most mobility. Only foolhardy reporters wear high heels to a parade.
8. That said, don’t run if you can help it. Unless everyone else is running, you will attract unwanted attention. Walk fast and purposefully around a corner, to higher ground, or another safe spot.
9. If you’re with friends, stay together. If you can’t, agree on a meeting place beforehand in case you get separated moving through the crowd.
10. Avoid being caught against walls, fences, blockades, or other solid objects. People can get crushed by masses of people fleeing the area.
11. If law enforcement arrives, stay out of their way. Their job is tough enough, and they won’t be able to hear you above the roar of the crowd.
12. If you’re going to be in a crowd for the day, you might need more than a folding chair and a picnic lunch. Consider carrying a small medical kit (say, a tourniquet and a compression bandage) that can help control bleeding. With a little knowledge and training, you might just save a life.
I used to say that it’s unlikely you’ll ever get caught in someone’s violent outburst. These days, however, I’m no longer so sure. Having a solid plan of action in these troubled times just makes common sense. We must be prepared for man-made disasters just as we should be prepared for hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes.
“The best any of us can achieve is to find a locale where there is low probability of violence with little warning, and go there.”
Sounds like Lake Forest.
That matches my thinking exactly.
Dropping flat on ground is best first step.
Running will expose you to the shooter.
It is lack of being part of a good community.
Most mass shooters are loners, misfits and have mental issues.
avoid crowds and large gatherings of people.
They are pumping young men full of drugs so you don't bother teacher.

Umm, how’s about, “Assess, Decide, Act, Re-assess, Decide, Act etc.” as you seek cover if available on your way off-line while engaging if the tactical situation allows for doing so. Too simple even a Man could do it.
It’s unconstitutional to sit on a roof and slaughter innocent people. Such a man should die. To allow him to live is an insult to the victims and God.
The death penalty is constitutional, but all your other angry ideas are unconstitutional.
The victims and the families could sue the snot out of the parents though. Sponsoring him on his FOID after he had his suicidal and homicidal ideation that resulted in the removal of his knife and sword collection puts them in a very vulnerable legal position.
Bankruptcy via lawsuit would send a message to other careless parents pandering to their vile poorly raised children.
Grandpa gave Dad his old .30-30 rifle, and I kept it in my closet as a tween. I NEVER played around with it, nor showed it to my friends when they were over.
I was raised with Christian values, and was taught the four rules of gun safety. Since I was familiar with its destructive ability while shooting at our weekend home in the country, there was no intrigue about it - I left it alone, just like any other tool.
The thought even today of pointing a gun at someone, much less shooting them, is foreign to me. Even if I had to defend myself against the worst criminal imaginable, and it was legally and morally justified, I would still hate that I had to take a life.
So yes, things have changed - we have become dehumanized, and it’s not due to guns. It’s the criminal element that possesses them. We need criminal control, not gun control, and a return to Western values in the Judeo-Christian tradition.
We’re staying away from these demonic Luciferian worships.
Golden Calf dancing.
They gave way and don’t even know the 4th. Concerts demon possession awareness.
Statue of Ishitar. NY Harbor.
Another thread today talked about the murder conviction for some MS-13 members who made a video of the murders. It took 6 years. How long would it have taken without the video?
