Oklahoma Sooners assistant football coach Cale Gundy has resigned from his position after he used a “shameful” word during a team meeting.
SNIP “I owe it to Sooner Nation to be transparent about what led to this decision: Last week, during a film session, I instructed my players to take notes,” the statement read.
“I noticed a player was distracted and picked up his iPad and read aloud the words that were written on his screen. The words displayed had nothing to do with football. One particular word that I should never — under any circumstance — have uttered was displayed on that screen. In the moment, I did not even realize what I was reading and, as soon as I did, I was horrified.

What a douche.
This is beyond pathetic.
There is no way a single word, read at random off a player’s iPad justifies resigning his position. There is something more to this story.
In this case it’s the DEI machine that David Boren built in his time as President of OU.
Something like 60 apparatchiks in the OU system now, all of them out to make a name as the guy who humiliated so and so.

Others have complained through the years but it is still true any time you pull up to a stoplight and wait and a rap song is loudly blaring on a nearby car, you hear vicious anti-women violence threats, every filthy term for women and black people, and glorying in murder.
That is their contribution to culture.
Sort of like Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Shakespeare, Dickens, Dostoevski, Emily Dickinson, Rembrandt, da Vinci, Emerson, Nureyev or Pavlova.
