Love it. An intense downer. When I am prepped and ready for a downer it does not disappoint.

On the Beach totally freaked me out. I didn't want to finish it, but I read it in one sitting (until way past bed time) just because I felt like I owed it to the characters. Then I cried for humanity.
That's some powerful writing.
