I use Amazon here and there. I do not have Amazon Prime. I use a debit card but check it right away to make sure it is correct. However I noticed in the past few months its harder and herder to order without me getting an email that states: “Thanks for joining Amazon Prime!” I did no such thing. I have to get back in and cancel it. This happened to me twice already. Amazon sucks.
Yep - I’m about to tell at Amazon because they lied about Amazon Prime and a “free” trial.
Told me 2 months for free and charged first month.
Just got done (almost) yelling at Amazon about bait and switch on Prime.
Refund is supposed to be in process. I asked for email confirmation of refund in process. Email received.
It’s not just Amazon either.
BJ’s has twice within the last couple years signed me up for their easy (automatic) renewal and I know I would never have done that. I want the control of my account.
So I let the membership lapse.
There’s a Sam’s nearby I can go to with my son, and we are set with stuff anyways.
