Don’t block the road. Don’t crash into pedestrians. Don’t shout obscenities at hikers. Leave wildlife alone. Remember - you’re hyped on adrenaline, and will do things you would abhor if you were sane.

Don’t tell hikers they shouldn’t be on “your” trail in state parks and public lands.

From the logo on the left side of the gas tank...it looks like it could possibly be an Indian. Hard to say.

Suggest adding a motor to the bicycle.
You know for when you run out of renewable energy after 10 mile bike ride and you gotta now turn around and ride back : )

Rode the Gravel Locos - Pueblo today.
Did the 62 miles with 3200’ elevation gain in 5:20.
Easily the most beautiful and fun gravel ride we’ve ever done.
All proceeds on all gravel locos go to local volunteer fir departments to buy trucks or add to the fire halls. Pretty cool

WOW that’s very impressive and great you are helping the firefighters. Last time I rode gravel I crossed a gravel road and immediately turned back on it. Was rewarded with a hill section I rode down a few times. I marked the location on my map app. Currently my bicycle is in the shop with a loud pedal crank squeak and the breaks housing are loose. Monday is a holiday here so I have no ride till Tuesday but then I want to start a big Autumn riding campaign and find more gravel.

I only had a bicycle when I lived in Santa Fe, NM. Once tried biking the road to the ski basin (Hyde Park road?). I finally quit on one extremely steep stretch. Santa Fe is 7000 feet elevation; Ski basin is somewhere around 11,000 feet.

That video is the Gravel Locos-Hico (Texas)
We did that one twice. On the very first one they hosted no one knew if anyone would show up because we hadn’t heard of it. But 20 pros and 1000 total riders showed up! The next year 1700!
Turns out it was the perfect warmup for the Unbound in Kansas for the pro riders.
To put it into perspective we did 70 miles in 6 hours, the pros did 150 in 71/2 hours. They averaged over 20 miles an hour on gravel roads, crossing 3 rivers and 5000 elevation gains only stopping twice for water.
Crazy!

Yesterday (Friday) I rode to Dragon Mountain to watch the sunset.

On the way I rode through the Brandenburg Gate where people were protesting against Iran.

God rays. Sunset on Dragon Mountain.

The opposite direction, Berlin.

On the way home I passed through the Brandenburg Gate again.
This time it was illuminated by Festival Of Lights.

(plus night ride home till my battery ran out.
I recommend watching with video speed set to at least 1.5x and no sound.)

I rode a dirt road past this small ranch that turned into a trail that had a sign nailed to a tree that read "WC" which in Germany means bathroom. I have mostly been a city boy so when I saw that, I thought: Oh this trail will take me to a road where there is a bathroom. But no, the bathroom was actually the open. So I turned around.

I am 6 feet 4 inches tall. My bicycle frame is 60cm (23.6 inches). Recently my bike was in the shop because everything came loose and my brakes were shot from accumulated road dust with no oil in the hand brake levers. The bicycle shop guy Mike fixed it all up but could not test the bike because he is like 5 feet 4 inches. I told him I'll test it and come back if need be but didn't need be.
