Even Jeff Bezos' son is hoping Amazon's new "The Lord of the Rings" production is up to snuff.

The billionaire Amazon founder told the audience at the show premiere that his son warned him not to mess up the prequel series that debuts on Prime Video this Friday, Variety reported.

"After Amazon got involved in this project, my son came up to me one day, he looked me in the eyes, very sincerely, and he said: 'Dad, please don't eff this up,'" Bezos said, according to Variety. "And he was right. We know that this world is important to so many people, we know it's a privilege to work inside this world and we know it's a big responsibility."

Bezos has a 22-year-old son with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott.

Dreadful writing. Cute Galadriel.

>>he said: ‘Dad, please don’t eff this up,’” Bezos said,

Pity, that Bezos didn’t listen to his son.

Amazon already has its censorship groups cancelling and censoring most all of those who are criticizing it as woke, etc., etc., etc., etc.

Yes and yes.

I gave it a chance. I made it through the first three episodes before giving up on it. It's just not very good, no matter how cute Galadriel is.

HBO's "House of the Dragon" is much better. HBO really knows how to do this kind of stuff. I was hooked from the beginning and so far, I haven't been disappointed with a single episode (I do miss the younger, much hotter Rhaenyra Targaryen though but the current actress is doing a good job).

Didn’t listen to his wife’s son, didn’t listen to the source material... Pay an extra $20 this year for Prime membership because he’s passed the bill on to you for his expensive fan fiction.

Why do people care about this electronic garbage? Unless you live in a blue sewer town, take a walk, read a book, sit outside for a few hours.

I was bored with the first episode of House of Dragons. I didn’t see any point to the prequel. They should have gone with John Snow in the sequel to the Game of Thrones. At least we won’t know where it’s going.

Eff this up? If I had talked that way to my dad (at any age), I’d still be in orbit.

I guess Bib Dylan was right. The times they are a’changing.

I don’t know who Bib Dylan is. I meant Bob Dylan.

I terminated Prime because they censored Parler after what happened on 1/6. But if I kept Prime, I would probably get rid of it right now anyway. It's no longer a good deal. It's expensive and it does not offer what I want. A woke version of Lord of the Rings? No thanks.

Unfortunately for them they can’t cancel the Critical Drinker and others.

I don’t think they can get them all, there is just that many critical of this prequel. But they have hit some.

Do people, especially traditional normals, not realize that electronic media are inherently demoralizing and by the hosts of ‘Manchurian Candidate’ electronic brain washing memes that are inserted in any product made after Bill Clinton entered the White House ( and many before. But those are crude enough to be easily detected) highly subversive psychological manipulation products? The commies are in love with all the electronic trash, that should say enough right there.

Bezos effed it up, but he solved the problem. Since Amazon removed the critical posts, Lord of the Rings is now a good show that never receives negative reviews.

Never in my wildest childhood dreams would I have spoken to my father like that. For one thing, I would have gotten
‘whumped’ in the face by the back of his fist.

But, as we all know, each family decides what is normal and acceptable for them.
I’ve seen pre-schoolers ‘barking orders’ to their parents while in the grocery store. If the parent fails that test, the spoiled child wins, and will press that button as needed.
