According to a recent poll, reports of President Donald Trump’s demise as GOP figurehead may be highly exaggerated.

The new poll from Premise Data shows that Trump leads with 65 percent of support from the field, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with only 15 percent of support. No other probable contender gets over 7 percent.

The poll results can be seen here: 2024 National Republican Primary:

Trump 65% (+50) DeSantis 15% Pence 7% Cheney 3% Cruz 3% Haley 1% T. Scott 1%

Big League Politics has reported on RINOs coming out of the woodwork to declare Trump as dead and non-viable in an attempt to gaslight Republican voters into ditching their heroic leader:

“You can hear the herds of never Trumpers coming.”

LOL! They’ve been pretty active here these past few weeks, haven’t they?

I guess we’ll just have to DRAG THEM ALONG come 2024. As usual. ;)

Trump is too old to run again.

The same Trump that wore down everyone around him with his energy even though they were younger?

He will be almost 80.

Haven’t we had enough old fools trying to run things?

They should all retire.

What you don't understand is the candidate or issues will not attract democrats or so-called independents everything now is base base...Trump will win...no abortion to help drive democratic turnout in 2024...and Biden low approval...but republicans got to work on mail in ballot...they elected stroke victim in PA..SAD. Trump is only candidate with built in broad support to late for another in GOP candidate...unless Trump decides not to run then there will be an opening.

It doesn’t matter.

The rats are going to steal every election from here on out.

Nobody will stop them, hell, over half the idiots in this country don’t even realize it is happening.

Worrying over who is going to be the Republican nominee is nothing more than mental masturbation.

To those who have been freaking out about Trump’s recent attacks on DeSantis, I ask: What did you think would happen during a primary, they would sit down and sip tea?

I know Trump is jumping out ahead here because no announcements have been made yet, but he’s doing this because it is clear that the RINOs and media are trying to gin up a primary that will push Trump out. It’s the RINO leadership that is causing this, by trying to shove Trump aside. They’re the ones who want a primary, and what do you think happens in primaries?…the candidates beat up on each other. Should be no surprise that Trump is just trying to get the first punch in.

I don’t know how people think that a primary would happen without a lot of collateral damage to all of the Republican candidates. That’s why they’re a bad idea unless you have no choice, such as trying to dislodge a feckless RINO.

It might have been helpful had the article pointed out that the poll was taken before the mid-term election.

Until the ballot vs vote thing is fixed, there is no way to win against the democRAT machine. Trump could win 100% of republicans and he would still lose the ballot count against ANY democRAT

A million more people voted for Trump in FL than RD in 2022. I know its Pres vs mideterm but it’s interesting. A million less voted in PA than for pubs than Trump.

The working class, which is the majority will show up for Trump but nobody else.

That is true, but I just can’t see Trump vs Biden II going any differently than last time. Yes Trump will draw out some working class for him, as well as a LOT of people to hold their nose and vote for Biden.

It’s time to move on. He’s old. He (Trump) can still do a lot of good for the GOP and the country .. if he wants to.
