David DePape, the man who attacked Paul Pelosi in his home last year, made a bizarre call to a news station with an “important message for everyone in America.”

The guy is 82 years old, as far as the drink, if you listen to the 911 call it seems that being helpless, Pelosi was just trying to normalize things and keep things calm.
The perp was holding onto him and holding the hammer that Pelosi seemed to fear and was trying to keep away from.
HOW could they KNOW it was him?
Pelosi handled the 911 call correctly.
But—when the cops arrived the situation changed radically—and I think most folks would change their behavior radically as well.
If you are in fear you try to get away—and do anything and everything in your power to make that easier.
A drink in the face of the perp would have been very effective and get the cops attention in a hurry.

DePape went on to say, “freedom and liberty isn’t dying, it’s being killed systematically and deliberatively.”
“The people killing it have names and addresses, so I got their names and addresses, so I could pay them a little visit. Have a heart-to-heart chat about their bad behavior,” he told the station.
He then added he spent “all my time exposing government corruption online, only to have them silenced by (I assume he meant to say my, not by) freedom of speech as quickly as they could.”
DePape added the “ruling class [has] outsourced the recession” and are “fascists.”
He then added he was setting up a new website that was “out of reach of tyrannical global fascists and their internet censors” after his other site was “silenced.”

I’m not sure what he means by this, and delusions don’t need logic, but you could make an (accurate) argument that neoliberals are fascist which explain why their terrorist arm calls themselves antifa.
