You're watching the official music video for Foreigner - "Cold As Ice" from the album 'Foreigner' (1977). "Cold As Ice" has been featured in Rock Band 3, Stranger Things, and SNL

This song was used to great effect on an episode of “King of Queens”.

That film short made such an impression on me that to this day whenever I hear Cold as Ice I think of that SNL Gary Weis film.
I remember a Cold as Ice video on MTV where a man slowly spun past a woman and he had. knife in his back. I have never been able to find it online since.
I remember a video like that as well. I seem to recall seeing it once on a Saturday Night Live broadcast, but have never seen it again ...
That’s the one. To see it you have to pay for the SNL episode, apparently. I don’t subscribe to Hulu or Peacock TV, nor do I want to pay Amazon.com 48 cents to watch it. But you could if you like. It’s the episode with guest host Christopher Lee.
Thanks. Glad to start the morning with a good Rock classic.
Agree, a great band with a big catalog of great songs. Always thought it was cool growing that Lou Gramm was from my home town. It’s an abomination that Foreigner has been touring without him in recent years.
I hated it that he was not there, too, but we did go see Foreigner a few years ago, and we really enjoyed it. High School memories... I figure if I can listen to my albums with none of them there, I can enjoy a concert with one or two missing... Journey is the same way, but we still enjoyed the concert. Boston? Fantastic concert. Queen would be a little different, I think. I saw Freddy twice in the late 70’s and early 80’s, and both times, it was fantastic. I don’t know if I would go again...
We’ve seen a lot of geezers in the last few years, and have never been disappointed. (But some of the really high notes are gone!)
THANKS for posting! One of my favorites.
You’re right, nothing will replace the greatness of those albums and the artists that made them. Watching them live (same roster or not) is still a good experience).
I saw a lot of great bands live during some of their peak and up and coming years, especially during the 80’s and 90’s. I’m probably subconsciously wanting them to go back in time with me to re-live it.
Everyone loved “Cold as Ice” back in the day. I still love it.
