There are apologies that are not apologies.
You can spot a non-apology when it uses words like “mistakes were made,” or “If I offended anyone …” or “that’s not who I am.” You know language like that is not an apology.
Then there’s a real apology. Like the “full-throated apology” of leftist Naomi Wolf, regretting being “duped” by the false narrative regarding the Capitol incursion of Jan. 6, 2021.
Essentially, Tucker Carlson’s airing of raw footage from the breach of the U.S. Capitol prompted her change of heart.
And she realized “there is no way to avoid this moment. The formal letter of apology.”
“I made mistakes in judgment,” wrote Wolf — who is a liberal progressive feminist author, journalist and former political advisor to Al Gore and Bill Clinton — in her online “Outspoken” column.
But she didn’t use that as an excuse, as her apology continued with, “[t]hese mistakes, multiplied by the tens of thousands and millions on the part of people just like me, hurt millions of other people like you all, in existential ways.”
And she was specific in the “you all” to whom she was apologizing – “Conservatives, Republicans, MAGA: I am so sorry.”
That was an apology.
And grace demands its acceptance.
Especially in that Wolf’s mea culpa is undergirded by several thousand words of specifically how she and other Jan. 6 narrative believers failed.

Her eyes were opened watching the Covid Scam turn the USA into Totalitarianism at the highest level since the American Revolution.
There were others who “got it” then.
The Jan 6 happening was Pure theater, All based upon lies and it was pre planned and the culprits behind it are still lying.
I never heard Naomi mention Jan 6 until recently.
Nice, apology accepted. Now help get the Jan 6 people out of jail. And then prosecute the people who unjustly withheld information to put them there.

Tucker seems to have abandoned the topic of Jan 6th. He stopped showing new footage after a day and didn’t even discuss it today.
“Nice show and career you have there, Carlson. Be a shame if anything happened to it.”
It seems that many convictions...and guilty pleas...should be reversed or reduced here.And in late January of 2025 there will be many Presidential pardons issued with any luck.
Why aren’t you supportive of citizens in the process of being red pilled to a more conservative way of thinking?
She already endured the “pressure” over the last 2 years.
Apparently she closed her eyes and mind again. I strongly suggest that she use Gorilla
glue to keep them open, but she has got to stop sniffing it.

There is no way to avoid this moment. The formal letter of apology. From me. To Conservatives and to those who “put America first” everywhere.
It's tempting to sweep this confrontation with my own gullibility under the rug — to “move on” without ever acknowledging that I was duped, and that as a result I made mistakes in judgement, and that these mistakes, multiplied by the tens of thousands and millions on the part of people just like me, hurt millions of other people like you all, in existential ways.
But that erasure of personal and public history would be wrong.
I owe you a full-throated apology.
I believed a farrago of lies. And, as a result of these lies, and my credulity — and the credulity of people similarly situated to me - many conservatives’ reputations are being tarnished, on false bases.....
Naomi’s website.....where she has posted pages of detailed info, on her Pfizer Reports investigation....and, the horrid adverse effects of the $hots....
She is a regular guest on Bannon’s Warroom, discussing said findings.
Now that she knows that truth, can she open the door to Christ?
An admission that she wasn't doing her job...reporting truthfully on the news. She couldn't be bothered to check the facts.
She sounds really stupid.
Glad she finally “woke” up.

Well, Grace can accept it. But she sure can’t make any demands on the rest of us. If I recall correctly Naomi Wolf put out some nasty stuff. An apology is not even a down payment for all that she needs to “refund”.
But she can now try to prove if she is sincere.
