Randy California never got his due as a guitarist. He was top notch
Yeah - he kind of got himself stretched too thin. Not all his fault; but peaked a little too early and then things fell apart all around him out of his control. Would’ve been interesting to see him play with Hendrix, or to see Led Zeppelin open for Spirit, or if they had played Woodstock. People in his orbit became hugely successful.
