KEY POINTS
The PGA Tour agreed to merge with rival LIV Golf, which is backed by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund, an entity controlled by the Saudi crown prince.
The proposed merger comes after the PGA Tour and LIV Golf have been embroiled in lawsuits regarding antitrust claims.
The deal would end all pending litigation.

Golf is fading in the USA {the PGA club pros are now 29,000 when 15 years ago they were at 34,000} and it is because young American people don't play as much as as the young people in the rest of the world {mostly slants and dots, the two groups with over half of the total population in the world}.
