The problem was he had primarily just the deep state pool to begin with.
He trusts people, until he can’t.
I am anxiously waiting to see him clean house next time.
If he does nothing but fire the heads of the deep state, and prosecute any who did criminal acts, he will have done the country a great service.

Well, I know we hate Mike Pence, here on Free Republic. So anyone who says they would vote for him, will be attacked. I would never vote for a traitor.
It's not about *liking* or *hating* anyone. It's about character and nope, he's not getting my vote. He's shown that he can't be trusted.
I'm not sure any politician can be, though, but he has a history so, no.

Agree.
There is a claim on Twitter that Pence was not going to support Trump on January 6th in exchange for a promise from the Koch brothers that they would support him in 2024.
At this point it’s hearsay. No one has come forward by name claiming to have heard this, or by saying they were on Pence’s team and it was common knowledge. I have to conclude that it is still an unsubstantiated rumor, but I wonder ...
