Because eating bologna sandwiches is easy after getting used to lobster. Oh, wait.

After all we are just digestive tracks with some facilitating muscle, organs, and other matter outside of it.

Actually that could work.

I hated all that stuff when I was a kid. If they forced me to eat it for long enough, I suppose I’d learn to not be a fussy eater if I didn’t want to starve.

The toddler has a d-bag for a daddy?
Life is going to be hard for that child.

My 3 year old isn’t anywhere near that adventurous about food. It’s not for lack of trying to get him to try new foods. My Mom says there wasn’t anything I wouldn’t eat when I was a child.

I ate lobster once...because I was young and starving while in boondock Jamaica.
No Mcdonalds no nothing...

The jerk chicken stands were pretty good though.

We have a teen that will eat any seafood or red meat. But won’t touch pizza, sandwiches, or pasta. We didn’t necessarily push any foods, but that is how he ended up. Kids are weird…no predicting if this chef’s approach will work or not.

Except for the time when they are on formula the kids have always eaten what the rest of us ate.

I sometimes had to mash or cut something up but I was not going to cook a special meal for one member of the family.

That is how you get a picky eater.

Does the kid like cheese?

If so, cover the lobster with melted cheese.

Heck, I'd eat it...

Here's Lobster Mac & Cheese -

I encountered my daughters to at least try everything I prepared or ordered out. They were good sports about it and like a wide variety of cuisines. Although one still uses too much ketchup.

Is this really that unusual? When I was growing up, there was one choice as to what to eat. That was whatever was put in front of me. The same was true with my children. I eat just about everything and so do my children.

“The mindset is for him to not be always picky and to try a bunch of different foods,” said the New York-based cook, who is married to 28-year-old Emily, an English professor.

Picky eaters? Do what my mother did. Give them a choice.

“You either eat this. Or you don’t. Your choice.”

I was a single parent until my second wife came into the picture. I am a terrible cook. She made me and my son a home cooked meal when he was 4.

My son took a mouthful of vegetables and said with excitement in his voice: What Are These?

Those are vegetables.

He couldn’t eat them fast enough.

Just make sure he gets some catfish and collard greens, chicken livers with biscuits and gravy, new York style pizza, plenty of barbecue, TexMex, Italian, and learns about potatoes, and eggs, and bacon. No problem.

I grew up on abalone and lobsters. I'm fussy with all things sea food. Poor kid. This guy, Pop Proctor taught a lot of us how to dive early:Poproctor
