Defund public schools.
We have to burn the village to save it.
Who is talking about Nuclear War? The Russians are the only ones talking about that. And I thought they were winning.
Sloppy writing on my part. “who were” should be “and are”. Zinn, etc. are the ones who want to crush the anti-CRT laws.
“Who is talking about Nuclear War? The Russians are the only ones talking about that. And I thought they were winning.”
Maybe you’re not paying attention, but I DISTINCTLY remember Zelensky threatening to develop nuclear weapons, and I really doubt they were for Christmas Tree ornaments.
The article leaves out several details about the name of the student, location and name of school, etc.
“Zinn”
‘Nuff said.
Both victories for the north came in the first week of July, only days apart. But let's consider the following:
Grant withdraws from Vicksburg -- Pemberton then had about 30,000 men, in weakened condition and low on ammo. Grant had 75,000 plus troops, all relatively fresh (compared to Pemperton's men). Grant would have withdrawn, to rest and replenish his men, but likely Pemberton, or along with others in the area, would not have been able to counter attack.
Lee Prevails at Gettysburg -- Meade would have had to retreat, east towards DC, leaving the way north open for Lee. Both armies were relatively close in size, with Meade having the edge. Lee would have been only 40 miles from Harrisburg, a large city untouched by the war and a city full of much needed supplies. Lee's troops would have foraged the countryside and likely held up at Harrisburg so as to not overextend their southerly supply lines. The panic an invasion of PA would have sent shockwaves through the north.
You are correct that Vicksburg was a devastating loss for the south. But I think a Lee victory at Gettysburg would have had a larger immediate impact on the war.
Truth be told though, the numbers just did not add up for the south, who quickly were running out of men, and supplies.
Every time these school azzhos suspend a student, 10 teachers should be put on leave without pay for a week. If it’s okay for fatass school officials to throw students out of class for childish nonsense, we don’t need teachers at school either.
There must be more to this story. Nothing the kid read was offensive. Rather innocuous. Seems like someone is trying to create a narrative that a conservative teacher did not like that the student was reading something that historically put blacks in a good light. This story stinks to the high heavens
Teachers couldn’t do this if parents and taxpayers stuck together and refused to put up with it.
In high school and college (1970’s-80’s), teachers and professors did not like it if a student brought in a book or article that contradicted something they said.
Someone posted Professor (Lecturer? Instructor?) Obama’s exams the other day — he too told the students they could not consider sources other than the ones he had brought up in class.
When Washington chopped down the cherry tree maybe it landed on Abe’s foot and he let out a diatribe worthy of suspension? :)
Homeschooling might seem daunting. But it is one heck of a lot better for your child than the public schools.
Amen! Been sayin' that for years!
The linked article gives no indication that it’s authentic .
