I tried Brave on my Android smart phone, have not tried it on a desktop.
Google (aka Verizon) does not like Brave, I’m sure it is more secure. I recently removed it because I could not figure out how to make it behave on Verizon system.
But there is no security on the web, including cell phones.

I use Brave on my Samsung S22 (Android) and Verizon without any issues whatsoever. Installed and worked properly with zero complications.
