Trump was very ineffective in the long term, or otherwise they wouldn’t be prosecuting him today. He was weak, he ended up by handing over his presidency to Fauci (Trump was a notorious germaphobe, which I think was one of the causes).
The only things he got through were executive orders reversing Obama’s executive orders, since Trump couldn’t work well enough with Congress to get laws passed.
I totally agree that he was the one who called attention to and put a name to our problem (the administrative state) but he didn’t realize that it wasn’t his TV show, a situation where he needed to get other people on board.
I don't understand the logic. If he were ineffective they would want him in office and would promote him and leave him alone. The fact that they're doing everything in their power to remove him from the political stage must mean something.
They know Trump won’t make the same mistakes twice, trusting RINOs to choose swamp dwellers for cabinet members.
