He might have grown up working class, but for three quarters of his life, he's never had to worry about paying bills. Any financial struggles he once had have long been forgotten.
His hypocrisy is classic
He’s still promoting the leftist working man BS - meanwhile his daughter is a high-level horse-riding / dressage competitor. The most elitist and expensive of all “sports.” He literally bought for her a stable, with professional full-time trainers, equine grooms, etc... for her own private training facility.
Saw him perform 3 times. He’s good.
You folks are jealous.
So, I’m in no danger of hearing him perform Born to Run yet again. Good
Do us all a favor; drop dead Bruce
Darkness on the Edge of Town and Born to Run were his only hood albums. The rest of his discography is dreck
yeah, it is an ulcer. right.
He’s done. Stephen King weeps.
‘what a drag it is getting old”
The Rolling Dtones (circa 1965)
Meanwhile, I saw Eric Clapton in the Fall of ‘21 and no masks required, let alone vax. It was awesome. Love him even more for that, beyond already loving the music. And Jimmy Vaughn was the warm up act, he was great too.
Bruce can go jump in a lake, and I used to be a big fan eons ago.
Can’t stand his politics, but back in the day no one could touch him and the E Street Band playing live. If this doesn’t get you going, check your pulse.

Get well soon Bruce.
Geez man, its Rock and Roll, not opera.
Why don’t these old guys ever have the decency to just retire?
Especially the big leftists.
An ulcer killed my Dad, and the one my Mom had didn’t kill her directly, but it and all the complications just wore her down so much she lost the will to live.
He, like many of his contemporaries, will be back on the road again ... they’ve drugged away their fortunes and they have to drag their old dilapidated bodies out on tour instead of retiring to the lap of luxury you would expect.
I don’t like the guy, his music or his politics but that is a horrible disease.
So you’re saying Springsteen is broke? Guess that $500 million he got for his music catalog less than two years ago didn’t last long.
I believe they even did a podcast together (it was very short-lived).
I've seen him four times, most recently in 2003 (i thought the prices for his Broadway gig were outrageous). The time I saw him in 1985 is still one of the best live performances I've ever seen by anyone. But that was a long time ago.
My daughters were going to his Washington show this Friday that has been postponed.
