Before kickoff, the sidelines at Colorado’s stadium are now the place to be seen. There’s rapper DaBaby hyping up the crowd. There are Sanders’ friends and fellow football Hall of Famers Terrell Owens, Warren Sapp, and Michael Irvin. Hey, that’s basketball Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett and future baseball Hall of Famer CC Sabathia and rapper Symba. The VIPs wear a special credential around their necks: Prime Passes, in the shape of the gold whistle Sanders uses in practice. Boulder County is 1.3% Black, yet as one sideline spectator observes, the scene “feels like Black Hollywood.”
And what’s been happening on the field is as spectacular as what’s happening off. As the Buffaloes charged back against the Trojans, slicing a 41-14 third-quarter deficit to 48-41 with just under two minutes left, Folsom Field, filled with more than 54,000 roaring fans, felt like the epicenter of sports. Could Sanders’ squad, which had already exceeded expectations, stimulated the college-football economy, and compelled more than 8 million people to watch Colorado beat Colorado State in double overtime after 2:15 a.m. Eastern time in mid-September—ESPN’s highest college-football viewership figure at that hour—pull off this monumental comeback?
USC recovered the late onside kick to clinch the game, but Colorado’s charge just added to the Coach Prime euphoria. “The atmosphere is electric, man,” DaBaby tells me before leaving the field. “Look, f-ck the NFL game. Right now this is the most exciting place to be in football.”

Is this some “sportsball” thing?

I remember when he was called Neon Dion at FSU. He was a wildly popular entertainer on and off the field. Undoubtedly this man about town was taking some drugs too. Way back in 1990 or so.
“Deion Sanders, in full Deion Luwynn Sanders, bynames Prime Time and Neon Deion, (born August 9, 1967, Fort Myers, Florida, …”
At Jackson State he was a big promotor of C19 vaxxxes. Later on he fell victim to them with very serious blood clots in his legs along with 2 toes chopped off. He has had quite a few operations where his legs veins were cut open to pull out the blood clots.
He is a very upbeat man and religious too these days.
Oh well, if DaBaby and Symba are on board...
But honestly, IDGAF.
I was a fan until he pulled the race card this year. That was it for me.
The thing about Deion is... he’s always about Deion. He never made a tackle in his entire NFL career. Is / was he an absolutely freakish athlete? Undoubtedly. So I’m not getting on the Deion / Colorado bandwagon.
If black celebrities are showing up from out of state to support a black football coach, I feel free to admit that the only basketball team I ever cared about was the early 80s Celtics. And I actually lived in Massachusetts back then.
I wonder if it's related to the vaccine. He seems like a healthy guy. He was an athlete. A defensive back. So why would he get a clot in the first place? Doesn't make sense.
Has Deon (mr. born again Christian) ever apologized to Tim McCarver for throwing FOUR tubs of ice water on him in the Atlanta Falcons locker room after that baseball playoff game? The blood vessels were coming out of McCarver’s neck, and all he kept saying was “you’re a real man Deon”. McCarver was barely holding himself back from tearing Deon up (and ending his commenter career).
The Buffs will finish their last five games 1-4. First, build the defense.
I think the gold headphones are a nice touch 😆
Deion had “Compartment Syndrome “ here’s the story. It wasn’t the vax.

That factor likely contributed, says Sheskier: “I think there’s genetic predisposition, plus he may have had high cholesterol or plaque developing in his artery, making it more likely to develop a clot.”
When you encounter a Black man with great confidence, or maybe it is a large ego …. He really is not all that different from his White MALE counterpart.
Dialect might be different.
Black guy might say n199@h.
But people are people. They just want a LOT of respect/ haha giggle snicker laff
He never made a tackle in his entire NFL career.

Some might say it’s arrogance and self promotion.
You mean Deion actually made a tackle?
If Deion is the greatest coach in history then that’s wonderful for him. But he’ll have a hard time convincing anyone else if he has too many more days like he had against the football teams of the Oregon Ducks, USC Trojans, and Stanford Cardinals.
This Guy only found evidence of one ea. tackle.
That being enough to defeat the proposition, the defense rests.
