The College Football Playoff is not going to feature either Clemson or USC.

The Tigers dropped their third game of 2023 in a 28-20 overtime loss to Miami while No. 18 USC lost 34-32 at home to No. 14 Utah as the Utes hit a field goal with no time remaining for the win.

Was transferred to Reno for a couple years, it is still hard to believe that Las Vegas has a once great NFL team and a NHL team.

They're getting a baseball team too, and I suspect not long they'll also have an NBA team.

Back in the 70’s I went to DCI North(?) at the Silverdome in Pontiac. With the echo/reverb of the acoustics in that place I swear I could still hear the Cavaliers while the 27th Lancers were playing.

When I marched, DCI North was in Ypsilanti. I don’t think I ever played the Silverdome, but I can certainly imagine what you’re saying.

My wife, who is no football fan, watches The Band every week.

One of my personal favorites was their Tribute to Blockbuster Movies

Just rewatched the Tribute to Blockbusters. If y’all watch nothing else watch the Jurassic Park bit. Just awesome…. Check that…. I’m watching as I type and Pirates of the Caribbean is just as awesome.

You are right. I dated one of the tuba players while I was in college there. He walked so fast that I was always out of breath or chasing after him! I think he said they walked at a 125 tempo. That was how they got so much done on field.

The Led Zeppelin tribute was terrific! Will pass along to our kids.

For my part, I get a real thrill when I hear the announcer say, “Ladies and gentlemen, the Pride of the Buckeyes, the Ohio State Marching Band!”, as they proceed with the ramp entrance, then the “Buckeye Battle Cry”, and Script Ohio. Now followed by the alma mater, “Carmen, Ohio.”

My favorite part:

Not so fast FRiend. Michigan has won ONE national championship since 1948. So that’s ONE title in the last 75 years. If you do the math.

Most likely Harbaugh is being targeted for him being strong pro-life with a high profile to communicate that to the people.
