Chris Christie thinks ‘the people’ are too stupid to elect their own leaders - and that ‘the elites’ should make the choices for them.
Kind of like the old KGB used to do in the USSR - “here’s a slate of people you powerless citizens’ can vote between”. North Korea does it too - with the added requirement “YOU must vote.... or else”. All the scum of the world’s history have never trusted ‘the people’ - We WERE the exception.
