The GOP is a dying party that no longer fits with the new political realities.
“””””””

So true and Rona DeLecto. Not helping

Trump is literally tied up in court everyday with bogus lawsuits kinda hard for him to lead when he is literally sitting on a witness stand with a made up case

That’s tragic.

Just when you think Virginia can’t get any worse, it does.

It used to be just NoVa was the problem. Now it sounds like the Richmond suburbs are getting worse.

I fear what’s gonna happen to this state in the next state election.

There weren’t very many absentee ballots in this race

You might want to look as the official Kentucky voting results website:

They've figured out how to cheat and win. And since nobody is doing anything about it, prepare for the worst in 2024.

They created bluevote.com about 8 years ago - tested it in California.

Now they're using it all over the US. Came to Colorado two years after California.

It destroys anything the Republicans have to run a campaign.

My county is one of the richest in the US. The Republican party in the county has a couple of thousand dollars in its account. That's it...

GOP is finished, it cannot be reformed. Time for something new.

I don't go to many GOP events - it's too depressing.

I feel like it's a see and be seen event. Similar to a country club mentality.

I want to meet with warriors. People prepared to be in the trenches to fight for their kids and grandkids.

We thought we had a good one in Bobert - pistol packing mama.

Instead, she goes to DC and gets corrupted by the power. Messes around on her husband. He files for divorce. She comes to Denver with her DC pretty boy and they go down to the Performing Arts center and she lets him feel her up while the event is going on.

How many fighters do we have left? Where are the men who are prepared to stand up - instead of letting the Republican women attempt to fight the battles we should be front and center on?

...steps off soapbox...

I don’t see the absentee number on there ?

I heard the top elections official in Jefferson County giving the number of absentee, mail-in, and early voting totals for the county on Monday. He said there were about 680,000 registered voters. Around 45,000 had voted early. The mail-in number was around 4,000. The absentee voters (who vote early, in person, for cause) was in the hundreds. It was really small.

Early voters still have to show a photo ID. I can’t imagine that fraud in this way could be very high.

It is simple, but that’s not the right answer.

In the Gov race, the Dems had a better, more well known, likable candidate, who had FAR more money to spend, and was better at using his money to developed ads that focused on winning issues for him.

The Reb candidate was a ‘good guy’, qualified, but was not as likable, had much less money, and never used his money effectively on the best issues for him. The only reason, IMHO, this race was as close as it was in the end was: the bump from full embracement of Trump, with help from the same. That strategy shift came far too late.

In the other races, especially AG, the Dem candidate was wholly unqualified. None of them had money to spend or a winning message to sell.

I’ve been closely following election strategy for 50 years. This election is entirely believable to me. Just for the record, the 2019 Ky Gov race, and the 2020 Prez race, were NOT.

RW, maybe you could add some context as well? I know you have a few thoughts of your own, and good insight.
