surburban / urban is where is falling into a hole to dig out of - those “anti women’s health ads” probably had an impact in northern Kentucky...ridiculous that people would have believed that, but when the narrative is pounded into the minds of everyone without any ability to counter the message...the reality is that very large portions of the electorate are influenced by campaign advertising and messaging and not their own research.
If he was losing due to “racism” he would not be winning so handily in Pike County and surrounding counties close to West Virginia. Those would be the last places he would be winning...at least when it comes to supposed/alleged “conservative rural white” racism, anyway. There are certainly plenty of Leftists terrified of a black Republican winning who made extra efforts to defeat him solely because of his race.
My estimation of Cameron not as passionate about things as Lt. Governor Winsome Sears in Virginia or Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson in North Carolina.
Robinson running for Governor in North Carolina next year and I see him as a winner.
Also note the down ticket Republicans won in Kentucky tonight from Attorney General to State Treasurer and so on.
