A big statement could have been made with a Cameron victory. If I was a black politician I wouldn’t count on the party having my back. It’s funny how the blacks don’t call out the GOP leadership on just that.
Names-you may ask. Think Lynn Swann going up against an experienced incumbent Rendell-GOP set him up to fail. Then there’s Georgia not giving Herman Cain the nod over some pale-face-senate would be good for him. The black SOS in Ohio Ken Blackwell. Solid candidate but black. Then there’s the Ok. house speaker the primary voters couldn’t put in over Lankford-another paleface. Herschel-saw it from the very start. Some of these candidates were opportunities. Others were sacrificial lambs just for show. We’re using them just like the rats.
You have nailed this exactly time and time again part maybe 20 percent of the gop will only vote for a black candidate to a certain level. They have deeply racist beliefs about allowing a minority get to far.
