Based on what I know, 70% of Americans got vaxxed. The article stated that 20% of vaxxed people died. .7×350 million is 245 million. 20% of 245 million is 49 million.
I just did the math in my head for a quick approximate number. There should be 30-50 million dead if this story was true.

This statement makes the reader conclude that 20% of the nation's citizens have died after receiving the vaxx.
So let's say that someone worded American deaths as: 20% of American citizens have died after receiving the vaxx. That would mean all citizens received the vaxx, and 70 million died. It should be worded that 20% of all American citizens who were vaxxed have died.
Either way it was worded with reference to New Zealand, that 20% figure is hard to believe.
