The essence of the idea here is that if there was 1 drop of feces in the water tower, no one would want to drink it. Why is that?

CA been talking about this for decades given the drought conditions. Lot’s of push back. Many wanted more desalination but the greenie weenies wouldn’t allow that - too much energy. Greenie weenies having their way now making everyone drink human waste water. Ironic that they do it now that the drought is over.

Will this wake up CA?

The serfs will be told the water is as pure as rain. The “elites” will have imported European water shipped in.

No one makes water. It’s the all same water since beginning of time. Your bottled water has been pooped out millions of times.

The fruit and veggies you eat might have had animal waste deposited on some of them.

In Florida drinking water wells have to be at least 75 feet from septic tanks and drainfields.

In my area the sources for the drinking water from the water ultility are so bad you can at times smell the chlorine in the water - apparently needed to clean it up. From the start, many years ago, I decided that my house would excslusively use bottled water for drinking and cooking. Have never found a good reason to change that.

Not that it can’t be done. They do it on the space station, have done for years and years.

But it requires lots of energy, which CA is already short of.

And it requires competent engineers, techs and managers, which won’t happen because DEI.

Eliminate the water consumption demand of a couple million illegals and the situation gets less critical, but Noisome won’t do that.

Quit draining reservoirs to maintain a useless fish - but Noisome won’t do that.

Und-und-und.....

Nummy toilet water! But make sure and drain the reservoirs first! Can’t have those pesky citizens asking why THAT water can’t be used for drinking 😉

Nothing new. As they say, the beer you drink in St Louis has already been drunk three times before.

I guess their bright university students failed to realize that there are over 18,000 desalination plants around the world and they work just fine. Hate to see their testing fail and customers drinking contaminated toilet water.
