Now if this were NYC...oh wait. The NYC rats are much larger, as are the ones from Boston, Paris, etc etc.

Heh! I only saw 2 rats, and they were runts. You should see the pony sized NYC rats, grown fat on the garbage NYers, particularly the illegals, toss into the street and onto subway tracks without even bothering to look for a trash can. Such pigs with absolutely no regard for their surroundings.

At least it’s not snakes! Though if the rat population is that large, there ARE snakes...snacking. ;)

Yup. I’ve seen markets in SE Asia with stalls selling fried rats (sometimes on a stick), as well as lots of their kin running around.

You can see them in markets in Thailand, Vietnam, etc. Fried, barbecued, cooked to soup, etc. Mmm mmm good!
Honestly, I see no real difference between a rat and a squirrel..............
I’ve seen rats here in Florida as big as cats. They must have stowed away on NY car chassis...........
If squirrels suddenly lost the bushy tails people would go crazy with disgust, but I agree they are tree rats nothing more.

I would certainly prefer eating squirrel over NYC rat.
