Besides, 3 large robust men in a party mood don't step outside to urinate and then finding that the patio door locked behind them just leave it at that and sit down to calmly freeze.

I’d be pounding on the door screaming “Let me in.” Or I’d climb the fence to get out front. Or I’d use my elbow to smash a nearby window to get back into the house.
