Two teenage girls were taken into custody after authorities say they beat their counselor.
According to Salinas police, officers responded to a juvenile group home Sunday night on reports that someone was beaten.
When officers arrived, they found that the victim was a counselor at the home. They say she was suffering from large cuts to the head after being beaten with a fire extinguisher and an iron skillet following an argument with two girls.
Police say the suspects, a 14-year-old and 17-year-old girl, lived at the home and left the area after allegedly beating the counselor.
The victim was rushed to the hospital. As of Monday afternoon, she was listed as stable in the ICU and is expected to survive.
Both the suspects were found and arrested late Sunday night and booked into juvenile hall for attempted murder.
Them teens again.
You’re back. There was an email flying around saying you were MIA.
Reginald Dennys ex girlfriends?
How do you know it was “them”? Being under 18, they seem to be hiding their identities rather vigorously.
I base my evaluation on the media wrote this story. No identification on the teens and no information on the counselor. If the story fit the desired narrative, there would have been more information. No information probably means that it doesn’t fit the narrative the media wants society to know.
I was on a secret mission in Alaska.
I was on a secret mission - I meant Antartica.
If I had to bet....
Clearly its JUVENILES
Secret Agent Man in Antarctica...? Hmmm...
OK.
What we need are some common sense fire extinguisher laws.
Given it’s Salinas, there’s a good chance you may be wrong.
Well, I wouldnt be wrong in that the teens in question are from a protected class and the counselor is probably white.
Salinas = North Mexico
