You are incorrect about your assessment of the situation between Ukraine and Russia. The Ukraine military was waging war on civilians in the eastern Russian speaking regions, and the leaders of those regions asked Putin to help them.
I really have trouble caring about Russia and Ukraine beyond the fact that I don't want my tax dollars or our troops going there.
