Who did Ike use to round up the illegals during his Operation Wetback government program?
Great question. So I did a little digging. Evidently Ike employed only Border Patrol agents during Operation Wetback.
The whole thing was handled efficiently. Quick arrest, quick deportation. And Mexico fully cooperated. Hard to see any of that happening today.
